AUR - Savezno udruženje svetskih putnika - The Federal Association Of Globe Trotters

The Federal Association of Globe Trotters is founded in October 1999. in the rented apartment in the basement of the house No7 in 29th November street, today Despot Stefan Lazarevic`s street.
These rooms once were maidservents` rooms, which were after the WWII adapterd for living as coherent architectural whole.
At the end of 20th Century in the time of crisis in Serbia, we came to the idea to bring our friends, friends` friends and all the people of good will together with a single goal – to create a place for exchanging information and ideas – from business to art and sciance alike.
Since this was a pioneer endeavor, we furnished the promises with pieces of old furniture found in the attick and cellars.
The members brought the pieces of furniture as a donation, a gift, and with them they brought small parts of their own private histories into this space, which gave the club a special touch.
The place got the nickname “Grandma`s house”, and what started as a meetting point of few friends soon became the “Association of Globe Trotters” with several thousand members from Serbia and many more visitors from all over the world.
As a part of developing business activities, the founders bought the promises and became the owners which enabled them to broaden their activities and the quality of service.
The local, but also very often the foreign media from ex-Yugoslav republics, spread the word about us, so that our horizons get wider and borders don`t exist. The Association welcomes its members and friends weekdays as well as weekends. We organize parties and celebrations, festivities, film projections, acting and singing performances, literal and travel lectures. We offer various food and drinks, as well as the hot spot internet location.

Udruženje svetskih putnika je osnovano Oktobra 1999. godine sa sedištem u Beogradu u ulici 29. novembra br.7/-7 danas Despota Stefana Lazarevića, u tada iznajmljenom stanu, nekadašnjim sobama za poslugu adaptiranim i spojenim u jednu celinu nakon II svetskog rata.
Sobzirom da u to vreme mraka i beznađa nije bilo dovoljno posla, pa ni sredtava za normalan život, prevashodna zamisao i želja je bila da se prijatelji i prijatelji prijatelja i svi ljudi dobre volje okupljaju na ovom mestu zarad druženja, razmene ideja i informacija, kako poslovnih tako i iz oblasti umetnosti i naučnih dostignuća. Budući da su to bili pionirski koraci, opremali smo prostor korišćenim i odbačenim nameštajem i predmetima skupljajući ih sa raznih strana, koje su članovi donosili kao prilog, što je ambijentu dalo posebno svetlo, te je Udruženje potom dobilo ime od milja "Bakina Kuća". Pokrenut talas je vremenom narastao tako da Udruženje danas broji preko dve stotine članova i više hiljada posetilaca iz svih krajeva sveta.
Razvijajući poslovanje u okviru U.S.P. osnivači su u mesecu Oktobru 2003. godine otkupili prostorije i tako stekli pravo vlasništva sa ciljem efikasnijeg delanja i raznovrsnijih sadržaja u okviru istok.
Glas o nama prate i šire svi domaći mediji, ne retko i strani na podneblju bivše Jugoslavije i daleko šire. Za nas granice ne postoje. udruženje svetskih putnika okuplja članove i prijatelje svakog radnog dana kao i vikendom. Organizujemo zabave i proslave, muzičke svečanosti, filmske igrane i dokumentarne projekcije, glumačke i vokalne nastupe, naučna, književna, turistička predavanja i promocije itd., uz mogućnost korišćenja interneta na našoj hot-spot lokaciji sa ponudom raznovrsnog pića i hrane.
